ART work was squeezed into a red telephone box in Pensham, near Pershore, over the weekend as part of the Smallest Exhibition in the World.

The event attracted a number of people to the unusual gallery in the village just outside Pershore where art displayed on postcards was displayed for visitors to enjoy.

A large amount of the work by Pershore Arts was bought during the exhibition.

Jane Hordern, chairman of the club which meets each Thursday between 7pm and 9pm at the St Andrew’s Community Centre, said: “The exhibition went really well. I am not sure how many were sold but a very good proportion.

“We are a local art club and we are a mixed group of people; some who are experienced and those who are not.

“It was the first smallest exhibition in the world and it was a great success and good fun.”
