A TRULY patriotic celebration is in store as Bretforton Silver Band readies its popular Last Night of the Proms celebration.
Having originally started out as a thank you to the band's supporters and friends, the proms are now in their 19th year and going stronger than ever.
This year's last night of the proms takes place at 'The Butty' field in Bretforton on Saturday, July 22, starting at 5pm.
There will be a performance from Bret Set Go, Bretforton Silver Band’s training band, before the main event which will again feature traditional patriotic music including Rule Britannia and Land of Hope and Glory.
Community singing will be led by Jessica Friend and, in true proms style, the Evening will finish with a musical firework display from G Force Fireworks.
The event is free to enter and people are invited to bring their picnics, chairs and tables and enjoy a relaxed evening of traditional family entertainment.
Refreshments will also available to purchase onsite.
