A TRIBUTE to the son of a work colleague raised nearly £350.
Staff from Specsavers at 24 Bridge Street, Evesham, honed their best baking skills to raise £345.56 for the British Heart Foundation.
"The British Heart Foundation is a cause that’s particularly close to us, as our team member, Sonia Palmer’s son Woody, underwent heart surgery in February last year." says Amy Liau, store director of Specsavers Evesham.
"So, we’re keen to do all we can to not only raise funds for the charity, but also awareness about heart disease."
The British Heart Foundation is the nation's heart charity and the largest independent funder of cardiovascular research in the UK.
