Pershore woman to run London Marathon

A PERSHORE woman is looking for sponsorship as she gears up to run the London Marathon in aid of a national charity.

Sue Cosnett, from Lancelot Court, will be taking on the 26 mile marathon with her brother, Kevin Matthews, and thousands of others on April 26.

She said: “We’re running the marathon in aid of Help the Hospices, and in particular St Richard’s Hospice.

“My mum had cancer and I really value the work they do.

“We’re looking to raise £2,000 each, and people can sponsor us by visiting justgiving.com/sue-cosnett.

“We’re both really looking forward to taking part. I’ve wanted to run the London Marathon for the last 10 years and have been in training since before Christmas.”
