Pershore school holding fundraiser for African exchange

STUDENTS and staff at Pershore High School are holding a fundraiser, including a fashion show, to raise money for an exchange trip.

The Clothes Swap Shop and Fashion Show takes place at the school on March 4 from 7pm til 9.30pm, and is supported by Youth Volunteering Wychavon. Each entry fee of £5 goes towards the 2010 exchange trip with Zambian school Lubuto High.

People are encouraged to come along to the event, and bring with them any clothes they no longer need.

All clothing items must be clean and in good condition. Each item must be clearly labelled with your name and be presented in a clear plastic bag or a clothes hanger.

Everyone is welcome, and can join in by donating any clothing from casual to office attire, and sports clothes to formal wear. Accessories and jewellery can also be donated and exchanged.
