Police probe "unexplained" death of village woman

A WOMAN died in a mysterious incident in Bidford this week.
Police confirmed on Monday that they were investigating an incident in which a 44-year-old woman sustained a “serious injury” at a property in Grafton Lane.
The incident is believed to have taken place inside the house at about 1am on Sunday.
The woman was taken to the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch where she was treated in the intensive care unit, but died overnight. Police are treating her death as unexplained and a post mortem examination was due to be held yesterday.
A 39-year-old male was arrested at the scene and questioned in connection with the incident, but has since been released on bail. Warwickshire Police would like to hear from anyone who may have any information which may assist the them in their investigation.
