THE good old games from yesteryear were brought back into play by a care home in Broadway, with staff and residents bowled over by Bupa’s Games Days.

To keep traditions alive and rekindle memories, Brompton House Residential and Nursing Home invited families, friends and members of the local community to join in a variety of games, from shove ha’penny to cribbage.

Home manager Amanda Francis said: “Taking part in these old-fashioned games will bring back memories and it’s a great way for our residents to reminisce.

“Our residents enjoyed teaching us more about the old classics.”
