A GROUP of children and teachers from the African country of Zambia enjoyed the sort of scorching weather they are used to at home when visiting Pershore.
Nine pupils and two teachers - Mary Kalokani and Emmanuel Simwanda - from Lubuto High School were in the town last week as part of an exchange visit with Pershore High School. The group were given a tour of the school, the town and visited local attractions during their stay.
Pershore High School pupils visited the landlocked country in southern Africa last Easter and a number of trips have now been made by both parties in the link school program.
