A BARBERSHOP chorus will be serenading Christmas shoppers in Pershore to raise money for breast and prostate cancer charities.
The men of Vale Harmony will be singing at the Pershore retail market from 11am on Saturday, followed by a performance at Hillers Farm Shop, near Abbots Morton, from 1pm to 2pm.
The acapella chorus will be singing some Christmas carols as well as traditional favourites from its repertoire.
Musical director Chris Hartwright said: “The smooth sounds of our close harmony singing is just the thing to warm shoppers’ hearts and may even soothe their tired feet.”
The singers are hoping to improve on the £500 they raised last year for the men’s cancer and mental health charities which are supported by the Movember Foundation.
