A LORRY driver was airlifted to hospital with possible pelvic injuries this morning after falling off the back of his truck in Pershore and knocking himself out.
Ambulances rushed to the scene and a Midlands Air Ambulance landed at a nearby school after the 43-year-old man from Leicestershire fell about five feet in Cobham Road at about 11.20am.
A spokesman from West Midlands Ambulance Service said the man was complaining of pelvic pain and was suffering from chest pains when paramedics arrived.
Paramedics attached a pelvic binder and gave him pain relief before he was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
He was fully conscious on his arrival at hospital and his condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
