A WOMAN was trapped in a car after a crash along the Droitwich to Kidderminster Road.
A silver Mercedes E350 and a black Jaguar XF collided outside the entrance to the Rushock Trading Estate north of Droitwich at about 2.30pm this afternoon (Monday, April 28).
The fire service, police and ambulance service attended the scene along the A442 with paramedics having to release a woman trapped inside the Jaguar. She was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for treatment.
The male driver of the other car was out of the vehicle when emergency services arrived and was discharged at the scene as he refused treatment from paramedics.
Both of the cars stayed on the main carriageway once they had collided and the road was closed at 2.50pm while firefighters made them safe.
The road was reopened at 3.30pm but a lot of oil was spilt from the wreckage and the Highways Agency was called to clean up the mess so traffic had to be directed around the spillage.
