A CRITICALLY acclaimed acoustic trio are returning to Kidderminster with their 2014 tour later this month.

Following their successful concert at St George’s Church last summer, Whalebone are now bringing their Runes tour to the venue on Saturday, September 27.

The show will feature high energy acoustic music alongside haunting atmospheric tunes, and will include inventive interpretations of tradition music rock classics and original material from their two albums.

The band will also be performing brand new material together with tall tales, folklore and the myths which inspired the music.

Steve Downs, band frontman, said: “We’re delighted to be returning to St George’s, which is such a lovely venue and so well supported in the community.

“We had a great evening here last year and are delighted to be here again, with old friends and new.”

Tickets cost £8 in advance, or £10 on the door, and are available by calling 01562 755646 or online at ticketsource.co.uk/whalebone.
