DANCE sessions for all ages and abilities are being held each month at St Georges Hall in Bewdley.

September saw the first tea dance at the venue where dancers were invited to join in with a waltz, quickstep, tango and cha cha.

The event, which will take place on the second Wednesday of every month between 12.45pm and 2.15pm, is run by Worcester-based The Groove Dance Studio.

Natalie Bond, creator of the studio, said: “We would like to invite all dancers in and around the area to come along and enjoy an afternoon of dancing.

“It would be wonderful to see more dancing available in the area, where anyone can come along and enjoy a very sociable afternoon – just like it was many years ago before the demise of so many purpose built ballrooms.”

Entry to the tea dances, with the next one on Wednesday, October 8, cost £4.50 and refreshments are available.
