YOUNG people with an interest in politics are being invited to an event where they can discuss the issues which directly affect themselves and other young people of the area.
Taking place at the University of Worcester on Friday, between 5pm and 7pm, the event offers a chance to discover opportunities in the local area, helping to network, finding out about what can enhance employability, as well as funding support from O2 Think Big.
Speaking on the events panel will be Robin Walker MP for Worcester, Alex Quang from O2 Think Big and Craig Bateman, member of Worcestershire Youth Cabinet for Wyre Forest, who will answer questions about employability, volunteering and voting.
Craig, a student of King Charles I School, said: “I am delighted to have been asked to take part in this.
“Ensuring that young people have positive opportunities to invest in their communities whether through the world of work or through social action is one of our top priorities at Worcestershire Youth Cabinet.”
