BOROUGH residents can create a healthier lifestyle for themselves with the help of two free courses which are set to start next month.
Age UK Dudley is eager to encourage anyone over 50 to enjoy a better balanced diet through healthy eating while increasing their activity levels at the same time.
Their Age UK Eatwell Project starts with a community fit club on Tuesday November 4.
It comprises a 12-week programme that includes a weekly weigh-in, support and fitness activities taking place at Netherton Activity Centre in Greaves Road.
There's also a six-week cooking course, designed to develop skills while creating healthy and affordable meals at the same time, which takes place at Dudley United Reformed Church Hall, Trinity Road, starting on Friday November 7.
For more information on the activities and to book a free place call Suzanne Hemming at Age UK on 01384 354651 or email suzanne.hemming@ageukdudley.org.uk
