A WELL-known paranormal historian took time out of his busy schedule to investigate one of Worcester's most famous buildings.

Richard Felix, known for his work on Living TV's Most Haunted, spent the night in the Commandery in Sidbury on Friday.

He joined West Midlands based JP Paranormal and members of the public as they spent the night in the building that has a history stretching back around 1,000 years.

Following a talk on the history of the building, guests heard Mr Felix talk about his theories on what ghosts actually are.

After this people were split in to groups and left to investigate parts of the building, using various paranormal investigation methods including ouija boards, table-tipping, scrying and seances.

Those brave enough could also carry out lone vigils in the building.

Jenny Brown, who runs JP Paranormal with business partner, Phil, said: "The night was brilliant and it was a pleasure to have historian/paranormal investigator Richard Felix as our special guest as he is so passionate about the paranormal — as are we.

"The team and guests all found him extremely knowledgeable, friendly, approachable and could have listened to him all night. It was amazing to have him with us at such an historical and impressive building. The spirits there certainly seemed to enjoy his presence as much as we did."
