FURTHER speed checks at a spot in Pershore have revealed there is no problem with speeding traffic, Worcestershire County Council has said.
Checks have been carried out in Pershore's Bridge Street after a request by councillor and following months of complaints by disabled pensioner and local resident John Andrews.
Previously 86-year-old Mr Andrews contacted the Journal saying cars were "whipping" past his home at speeds he estimated to be around 40 to 45 mph.
But the council maintain there is no problem with speeding on the road saying the data recorded confirmed that previously collected, which showed average speeds to be in the low 20s.
Following this the county council said no further action would be taken.
