PUPILS at a Kidderminster school thrilled their parents and relatives during two performances of their annual nativity play.

Infant children from The Knoll School, in Manor Avenue, put on a double helping of Whoops-A-Daisy Angel in front of a packed hall of family members on December 2 and 3.

Throughout the last month the youngsters have been hard at work practicing their lines to get them ready to step out onto the stage.

Starring in the leading roles of Joseph and Mary in the performance were five-year-olds Harry McCarthy and Miranda Tudor, with a real-life baby Jesus played by Miranda’s four-month-old sister Eleanor.

Matthew Tudor, father of Miranda and Eleanor, said: “It was really good to see them both on the stage.

“It was something a bit different to have Eleanor play a real baby Jesus, and I was very proud of both of them.

“All the children gave their best and put on a great show for the parents.”
