BURGLARS sneaked into homes in Droitwich while the occupiers were asleep.
The sneak-in burglaries both happened overnight on Tuesday into Wednesday whilst the occupiers were asleep.
Someone entered their houses in Clee View and Vines Lane and took a wallet from one house and a handbag from the other.
In both cases the burglar is believed to have gained access through unlocked front doors.
Sgt Sarah Kent of the Droitwich Safer Neighbourhood Team said: "We believe that in order to target these premises the offender may well have been walking around Droitwich overnight trying a number of front doors, looking for insecure premises.
"Can I ask that members of the public who have CCTV on their premises check it for the period overnight (January 13 and 14) to see if anyone has been acting suspiciously. Although they may not have been victims themselves they could have key evidence which could help us catch the offender.
Also, please make sure you keep your doors locked at all times, not just when you leave your house."
