ANYONE brave enough to spend the night in haunted tunnels has the chance the do so — for a good cause.
The Fire Fighters Charity, which raises money for injured fire service personnel, is holding a Fright Night at Drakelow Tunnels on Friday, February 20.
The night-time vigil is to be held from 8.30pm until 3am and all who stay until the end will receive a certificate.
The registration fee is £15 and the minimum sponsorship amount is £35, and there is a prize for the person who raises the most money for the event.
Haunted Houses, who are conducting the paranormal investigations, shall offer a sitting with one of their psychic mediums.
Hidden away beneath Kingsford Country Park near Kidderminster, these terrifying tunnels are 3.5 miles long, and have served as a bunker for World War II and as a Nuclear bunker during the Cold War.
