A FUNDRAISING group in Worcester are hosting a charity golf day at Ombersley Golf Club.
Independent Fundraisers of Worcester are putting on the event in support of West Midlands Search and Rescue – a group of volunteers that are the first point of contact by the emergency services for flood and land rescue.
The golf day will take place on Friday, May 8, and the 18-hole competition is open to teams of four, with first and second place prizes up for grabs.
Prizes will also be awarded for nearest the pin, longest drive and longest putt while the best individual score will win the Westlands Hyundai Challenge Trophy.
Team fees include the cost of 18 holes golf and a two course carvery meal prior to presentation of prizes.
A raffle will be held on the day and a range of sponsorship opportunities for the event are still available.
