YOUNGSTERS at Bengeworth Academy in Evesham enjoyed an assembly with a difference when they received a visit from Radio- Active Ryan from Mad Science.
The children experienced demonstrations of some super scientific activities, which included how to turn liquid into a solid and the force of wind power.
The special assembly comes in advance of National Science week, which will be in full force at Bengeworth Academy in March, and will see children taking part in all sorts of additional scientific investigations and experiments.
A science dome, which will be erected in the key stage 2 base hall, will help older pupils to reinforce their learning about space and the solar system.
The school has also appealed to any scientists in the Evesham area who would like to support science week.
Anyone interested should contact the school on 01386 442047.
