BOROUGH residents can help shape how sexual health services develop throughout Dudley by being part of a consultation.

Dudley Council’s office of public health wants to hear what people think works well about the current services and how they can be improved.

Across the borough, sexual health services and advice are offered in a range of settings including GP practices, contraception and sexual health clinics, also known as family planning clinics, and pharmacies.

Councillor Rachel Harris, cabinet member for health, said: “We’re looking at how we plan our sexual health services in the future and your views and experiences are important in helping us to get it right.

“We want the service to meet the needs of local residents. You do not need to have used sexual health services to take part, but please help us by letting us know your thoughts on the sexual health services available and how we can shape them in the future.”

The services, which are free and available to everyone, also take place at genito-urinary medicine (GUM) clinics, HIV treatment and support services and young people’s services.
