THROUGHOUT this week, borough branches of Dudley Building Society will be putting the kettle on in support of Dementia UK’s Time for a Cuppa’ campaign.

Each day a different branch will be offering advice on wills, power of attorney and care fees.

Ekta Mair, Dudley Building Society’s marketing and communications officer, said: “We understand the difficulties involved when a loved one suffers from dementia and the emotional toll it can take on both the person living with it, as well as those caring for them.

“By ensuring that your, or your loved ones financial and personal affairs are taken care of at the early stages of dementia, you could be saving yourselves a lot of hassle and difficulty later on.”

To help raise money for Dementia UK, staff members of the building society are carrying out a bake off, with all donations going to the charity.

The campaign will be taking place at Dudley’s branch on Monday, March 2; Gornal on Wednesday, March 4; Brierley Hill and Kingswinford on Thursday, March 5, Stourbridge on Friday, March 6; and Kingswinford on Saturday, March 7.
