AN illustrated book will take readers back in time through the history of the city of Hereford.
Derek Foxton has compiled the book, Hereford History Tour, which has 60 historical photographs depicting life in the city through the ages.
Many of the shots in the book are his own as he has lived in Hereford all of his life and this is his tenth book.
Besides the city's notable landmarks, the photos also depict the Widemarsh Street Toll Gate and the now demolished Kemble Theatre in Broad Street.
In another photo, cattle stand in the road waiting to be sold in Broad Street.
Hereford History Tour (Amberley Publishing, 2015) is available to buy at the Amberley website, Amazon and The Book Depository.
It is also on sale in Kindle, Kobo and iBook formats.
