A WEST Midlands based law firm has joined forces with Stourbridge College and Kidderminster Academy to deliver business and law lectures to students.

Thursfields Solicitors, which has six offices across the region, will deliver “guru” lectures to students who are part of Birmingham Metropolitan College’s Professional Services Academy.

The aim of the Professional Services Academy is to equip students for the world of work and encourage local jobs growth.

Thursfields has an Education Team to provide advice on a range of sector-specific challenges, from advising an institution on its commercial property portfolio, providing debt recovery services to an independent school and guiding a college through a workforce restructuring programme.

Suzie Branch, director at Professional Services Academy, said “We are pleased to partner with Thursfields as they understand our sector and what we are seeking to achieve in developing high quality and employment-ready students for the local economy.”
