STUDENTS at a Kidderminster dance company are celebrating following their high achievements in their exams.

The girls at Elements Dance Company, aged between five and 18 years-old, sat their exams in February, including 11 different sessions on the day including ballet, freestyle and musical theatre.

The company achieved 100 per cent in the top marking band, with all the students receiving distinctions and honours.

Leah Ingle, one of the students at the company, achieved a mark of 95 out of 100, in her performers’ certificate award.

Hannah Wilkins, coach and choreographer for the company, said: “This was the first ever examination session for Elements and to get such an amazing success rate is phenomenal.

“I must say as the coach, I am so proud of them – and their parents are too. It’s not easy to get these results but to stand in front of the room and tell each girl how successful they had been was an honour.”
