A BUSY Worcestershire road will be closed overnight for four nights next week.
Contractors working for Worcestershire County Council will be carrying out carriageway resurfacing works on the A435, Northbound from the county boundary with Warwickshire to the M42 Junction 3.
The work will be carried out from 7pm until 6am from Monday, April 20 for around four nights.
A north-bound road closure and diversion route will be in place for the duration.
The road will be open during the day, although the signage will be left in place.
Jon Fraser, highways manager at Worcestershire County Council, said: "We ask drivers to bear with us while this essential work is carried out.
"We will aim to keep disruption to a minimum during this period but as always drivers need to take care and drive with caution.
"Access to properties and businesses will be maintained, however it may be limited at times. If you require any special provisions please contact our contractors who will do their best to assist."
Emergency vehicles will also be treated as a priority and given access.
