WORCESTER Cathedral's organist will reflect on the genius of Elgar's church music.

Dr Peter Nardone will reflect on Elgar's church music 'within the liturgical context' at the Carice Elgar Room, Elgar Birthplace Museum, Broadheath (WR2 6RH) on Saturday, May 9 at 2.30pm.

The talk, organised by the Elgar Society West Midlands Branch, is called "Elgar's Church Music - a performer's perspective".

Tickets cost £6 and Elgar Society members pay £3.
