BREWERS, landlords and licensees are responding to Wyre Forest Campaign for Real Ale’s request for beer related bric-a-brac to sell for charity at the Kidderminster Beer Festival.

This year’s chosen local charity is the Kidderminster Prostate Cancer Support Group, who are supporting the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust Charitable Fund in its aim to raise £1.6 million to purchase a specialist robotic operating system.

Donations of pump clips, bar runners, towels and promotional t-shirts are rolling in, all of which will be on sale at the festival next week to raise money for the cause.

Those wishing to add to the stocks are asked to contact Wyre Forest CAMRA through their website www.wyreforest.camra.org.uk.

Kidderminster Beer Festival will take place at the Town Hall from Thursday, May 21, to Saturday, May 23.

The festival is open to the public from 6pm to 11pm on Thursday, 11am to 11pm on Friday and 11am to 9pm on Saturday.
