FIFTY new jobs are to be created in the borough, as a Black Country home care provider launches a recruitment drive to meet increasing demand.

Carewatch Black Country is aiming to recruit fifty new care and support staff from across Dudley who are interested in a career in social care.

The firm, based at DBH Castlemill, is holding three open days for prospective workers at its headquarters next week.

Shelley Eggison, registered branch manager, said: “Quality care and support workers are key to our organisation’s services, but we need to recruit more if we are to meet the challenges of the UK’s ageing population.

“We’re looking for compassionate people to join our team of professionals, enabling our customers to retain their independence, dignity and security, in their own home.

“This is a demanding but fulfilling career. If you believe you have the right qualities, we’d love to hear from you.”

The open days will be held at Carewatch, DBH Castlemill, Dudley, DY4 7UF, between 10am and 4pm on Wednesday, July 1, Thursday, July 2, and Friday, July 3. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available.
