PUPILS at an Amblecote primary school are holding a raffle this week to fundraise for their end-of-term Activity Day.
With the help of their teaching assistant, Teresa McDonald, year 6 students of Peters Hill Primary School hope to use the raffle to make their last day of school as memorable as possible.
Local businesses have already started donating raffle prizes, including a gift voucher for a fun art and craft experience at Heath House Studios, near Kinver, a trial gym pass for Lifestyle Fitness, in Brierley Hill, and a luxury champagne tea for two at New Hall Hotel and Spa, Birmingham.
The pupils are appealing to other Black Country businesses to offer prizes so they can raise even more money for their final day.
Teresa said: “The pupils will be thrilled to receive more raffle prizes from local businesses. So if you’re able to join in and donate something lovely, interesting, useful or fun, we’d love to hear from you.”
To donate a raffle prize, call Teresa on 01384 816740, or email tmcdonald@petershillprimary.org before Thursday, July 2.
