LOCAL musicians will take centre stage at Colwall Family Music Festival this weekend.

The festival is held at Colwall Cricket Club on Saturday and Sunday, and this year will raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

This year's line up includes Jack of All, Tone Tanner, Kings and Folk, Prism, Black Cat Bone, Gareth Carey, the Players and more.

Organiser Neil Collins said: "We have now expanded the festival to take place over two days for the first time, with live music on Saturday evening and from noon on Sunday.

“Those attending can come either day or buy a discounted ticket to cover both days. There are also camping pitches for those who wish to stay overnight at an additional cost. In addition, there is a real ale and real cider bar, some great food and arts and crafts stalls throughout the event, so all you need to do is relax and enjoy the atmosphere.”

Tickets, which can be bought in advance or on the day, cost £5 for adults and £3 for 12 to 17 year olds for either Saturday or Sunday. Tickets for both days cost £8 for adults and £5 for 12-17 year olds. Admission is free for children under 12.
