THE Worcester Vegans and Veggies group was delighted with the popularity of its Vegan Fair at Cafe Bliss in Worcester on Saturday (July 25).

Free vegan food samples and recipe booklets were available at the event while cooking demonstrations, live music and merchandise stalls also entertained visitors.

Ronald Lee, communications officers for the group, said: "We're delighted at the interest shown in the fair by members of the public.

"People were queuing to try the vegan food samples and to take away recipe booklets.

"The success of the event shows how more and more people are wanting to end or at least reduce their consumption of animal products out of concern for animals, the environment or their own health."
