TWO brothers arrested following an attack in Worcester in which a man suffered “significant injuries” have been remanded in custody.

Daniel Spicer, aged 42, of Britannia Road in the Arboretum area of the city appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court along with his brother Paul, aged 46, of Dent Close, off Wyld’s Lane, on Monday, August 17.

Both were charged with unlawful malicious wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, while the older of the two was also charged with possessing an offensive weapon and using threatening words or behaviour following an incident outside Robert Owen Court off St Paul’s Street at about 3.20pm on Friday, August 14, in which Mark Millward suffered what police described as “serious injuries”.

The two spoke only to confirm their names, dates of birth and addresses and were remanded in custody to appear at Worcester Crown Court on Monday, November 23.
