DUDLEY folk are being urged to have their say at the council’s community forums to discuss issues across the borough with their local councillors.

Ten forums, starting at 6.30pm, are being held between Wednesday September 2 and Thursday September 10, as well as a ‘pop up’ forum at Mary Stevens Park on August 28 from 2pm until 3pm.

Leader of the council, Councillor Pete Lowe, will host the ‘pop up’ forum and invites local people to visit and speak to him on any council issue.

Cllr Lowe said: “We are a community council and that means we are constantly looking for ways to work with people and listen to communities.

“There are many ways people can raise issues and ideas with us, some of which we have been recognised nationally for. The 10 forums, however, offer people the chance to do that face to face with their councillors, who are only too happy to help.”
