A KIDDERMINSTER family support charity has been awarded a £10,000 grant from the Garfield Weston Foundation towards the core costs of their service.
Home-Start Wyre Forest was delighted to be awarded the grant which will enable the continuation of support services in the homes of local families with young children who are experiencing difficult times.
The Garfield Weston Foundation is a family founded trust who has supported charities for the past fifty years and last year gave £55 million to worthy causes.
Belinda Darby, Home-Start manager, said: “We are delighted with this grant towards our core work, which will allow us to continue to support local families in their own homes through our team of 101 volunteers and five staff.
“We are so pleased the Garfield Weston Foundation has invested in our work this way.”
