POLICE are on the hunt following an attempted robbery in the underpass of Brockhill Lane in Redditch on Wednesday night (October 7).

At approximately 10.30pm, a man in his forties, was assaulted by three men who attempted to steal his camera. They punched and kicked him before making off on foot in the direction of Batchley.

The victim sustained slight injuries during the incident.

West Mercia Police describe the first man as a white man, in his early twenties, with a pale face. At the time of the incident he was wearing grey jogging bottoms and a blue hooded top with an Adidas logo on the left hand side of the chest.

The second man was described as a white man, in his early twenties, clean shaven with really dark eyebrows. He was wearing a darker blue hooded top.

The third was described as a light skinned mixed race man, in his early twenties with a goatee type beard on his chin. He was wearing a white hooded top and blue denim jeans and white trainers.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact police by calling 101 and quoting incident number 790 of 7 October.
