ADULTS and children were all seeing green at a new early years centre in Worcester.

Staff and children at Worcester Early Years Centre, based at Manor Farm in Lower Wick, dressed up in all things green on Thursday in support of the NSPCC, a national organisation working to prevent child abuse.

Lara Mitchell, manager of the baby care department, said the event was well supported.

"We had a great time. We all dressed up, the children loved it," she said.

"We made cakes and parents supported us by offering donations. We choose a charity to support each term and this time we decided on this very worthy cause. We don't know how much we have raised just yet but we had a really good day."

The centre opened on September 7 and provides care for babies and young children while parents are at work.
