LOCAL churches and community halls in the Wyre Forest area are invited to this year’s Green Halls Show next month.

Find out how to transform your church or community hall into an energy efficient on Tuesday, November 3. The free event is organised by Wyre Forest District Council in partnership with St George’s Church and Transition Kidderminster and will take place at St George’s Church between 9.30am and 12.30pm.

It will give people a chance to talk to the experts including green energy and water supplier advisors, the district council’s conservation officer, fair-trade specialists and community and church specialists will be offering their expertise.

Councillor Sally Chambers, cabinet member for health, well-being and housing, said: “The Green Halls Show is ideal for anyone who is currently involved in the running of a local community building.

“It will provide support to those who are looking to transform their community hall or church into an eco-friendly building and save money on heating.”

Anyone wishing to attend the event is asked to email elaine.halford-bishop@wyreforestdc.gov.uk.
