NEW images have been released showing how the centre of Hereford may look following a £2.5million refurbishment.
Plans for the work go on public display for the first time later this week and reveal Herefordshire Council's vision to refurbish part of Broad Street as well as High Town and Commercial Street.
The idea is to bring these areas in line with Widemarsh Street which underwent controversial renovation work more than five years ago.
The latest work would stretch from the bottom of Commercial Street, up through High Town, ending just past the East Street/West Street junction on Broad Street.
It comes less than a decade after £2million was spent on a lengthy upgrade of High Town.
A two-day public exhibition will be held Wednesday (10am-5pm) and Thursday (10am-7pm) in Lloyds Bank, High Town, before a six-week public consultation is launched.
