FATHER Christmas has announced the dates for his grand tour of Alcester, Bidford and Studley with the Round Table Christmas float.
Santa’s route and visits will be organised by members of the Alcester & Stratford District Round Table but they will also be getting help from a number of local clubs and associations, including the Redditch Ladies Circle.
Round Table member Rob Bradley said: “Our membership has once again grown significantly this year with members from across the region.
“This has allowed us to further extend our Santa Run schedule, which we hope will allow us to beat the amount we raised and distributed to local charities and groups, last year.
“We’re also hopeful of another warm welcome in Studley where we join forces with Redditch Ladies’ Circle, following a great response from taking Santa there for the first time last year.”
The Christmas Sleigh will visit Alcester on December 9 and 10 and December 16 to 20, Bidford on December 11 and 12, and Studley on December 21 to 22.
Midweek runs start at 6.15pm and weekend runs begin from 4.30pm.
Listers Honda of Stratford is supporting the event by providing a vehicle to tow Santa’s sleigh.
The money raised on the nights will be presented to the nominated charities and good causes.
