FOUR men were taken to hospital after breathing in toxic fumes at a pub in King's Coughton.
The casualties, aged in their 20s and 30s, suffered breathing difficulties after industrial dishwasher chemicals were incorrectly mixed.
Paramedics, police and a fire crew from Alcester were called to the Moat House pub, Birmingham Road, King's Coughton, at about 1.40pm on Tuesday, December 15.
The men, who were in the kitchen area of the pub at the time of the incident, were treated by paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service and taken to the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch as a precaution.
Firefighters removed source of the fumes from the kitchen area and made the area safe and assisted casualties using first aid equipment.
During the incident, the police cornered off the building.
A spokesman from Warwickshire Fire and Rescue service confirmed the source of the fumes and added no further investigation would take place.
