LEOMINSTER Town Council has said it does not object to the sale of a piece of open space in the town – providing it is not built on.
The town council heard last week that Herefordshire Council had received a request to purchase a piece of open space in Osborne Place.
The council heard that the land was considered 'unusable' and 'difficult to maintain and manage'.
Councillor Jenny Bartlett said she was concerned that there had been no feedback from residents and felt the council did not have enough information.
But the town council agreed that it did not object to the sale providing the land was not built on in the future.
