A ROAD was closed by police in Catshill on Tuesday, April 19 following concerns being raised for the safety of a man and a woman.
Police were called to a property in Goodward Road in Catshill just after 9.30am on April 19, and the road was closed briefly while officers attended the scene.
A 27-year-old man from Catshill was subsequently taken into police custody on suspicion of assault, criminal damage and possession of an offensive weapon.
The road was reopened shortly after the incident.
Police would like to reassure members of the public that the incident was resolved quickly and safely.
