A NEW Kidderminster dance studio celebrated its official launch on Saturday, April 30.
Around 70 people attended the five-hour event for Elements Dance Company, in Worcester Street, as they were treated to tours of the studio in operation and performances from dance students.
Mayor of Kidderminster, Councillor Rose Bishop, and Wyre Forest District Council leader, Marcus Hart, were on hand for the official ribbon-cutting at the noon event.
Owner, Hannah Wilkins-Jones, said: "It was a really successful day.
"We had a lot of positive comments with around 70 people turning up from all different ages, and parents of existing students had the chance to see them perform and see how they are progressing."
Dance artist Katie Love, who made the finals of the BBC One talent show ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ and is now a Worcestershire Ambassador for the arts, also provided a class for children.
