A MINI touch rugby tournament was held at a Worcester school partly to raise awareness of homelessness.
Staff and sixth formers from Christopher Whitehead Language College played against a police team and a YMCA homeless team.
The winners were the YMCA, while the police team came in last during the tournament on Wednesday, April 27.
Headteacher Neil Morris said: "Worcester Warriors have a scheme supporting the YMCA with a homeless team and the police have also been involved and they got in touch with us.
"The YMCA team was made up of people who have all been homeless or rough sleepers in the past year or so and they are all putting their lives back together.
"It was about raising awareness of that.
"It was good for our sixth formers to see a different side of life and it's one of the many charities we support."
