AN 86-year-old woman from Moreton remains in a serious condition in hospital after being hit by a lorry in Moreton.
The woman was flown to Southmead Hospital in Bristol after being struck by the lorry in the town's Main Street on Wednesday, August 10.
The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident, from when it happened at 3.20pm until 11.15pm.
The lorry belongs to the transport company Canute, which says it is co-operating fully with the police investigation, and has launched its own inquiry.
Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101, quoting incident number 292 of August 10.
