MARKS and Spencer in Kidderminster will be hosting a special morning for Macmillan Cancer Support’s flagship fundraising event.

For the seventh year, the Kidderminster store is inviting shoppers to join them on Friday (September 30) for a coffee and a slice of cake for Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

The store is pulling out all the stops for the event, including live music in-store, dying staff members’ hair green, hosting a bake sale, colouring competitions and completing bike riding challenges.

Emma Stephenson, store manager, said: “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning provides the perfect excuse to gather friends and family for a catch-up over a slice of cake and a hot drink safe in the knowledge that you will be making a huge difference to millions of lives across the country.

“We will have lots of fun activities happening in store on Friday, and as a cause which is close to the hearts of many of our staff and customers, we are hopeful that this year’s event will be our most successful yet.

“We would be over the moon if customers visit us in-store to support the coffee morning and to join in the celebrations.”
