THE brother of a Malvern woman who died earlier this month has made a heart-felt tribute to his sister.

Speaking on behalf of their family, Simon Timbrell described his sister, Emma, as a 'loving and devoted mother'. who was loved by many.

Mr Timbrell added that the 'tragic and unexpected' death of his sister had left her friends and family devastated and heartbroken.

"Emma's family have been overwhelmed by the generosity and kindness of others during this mournful time and would like to express their most sincere gratitude," he added.

"Emma will be missed by all who knew her and so we would like to invite everyone to pay their respects at the funeral and at Emma's wake."

A funeral service will be held at 12.15pm in St Andrew's Church, Poolbrook, Malvern on Wednesday, October 5.

Mr Timbrell also thanked John Roe of Priors Croft, a restaurant and bar in Malvern, for raising funds in Emma's honour and offering his venue for the wake.

Donations will be welcomed at the wake, which will go towards the future of Ms Timbrell's children, Jade and David.

The wake will take place at 2pm in Priors Croft on the same day.

Donations will also be welcomed at the church service, half of which will go towards the church and the other half towards St Richard's Hospice Bereavement Service.

Ms Timbrell was 35 years old when she died in Baxters Walk, Malvern, on Wednesday, September 7.

An inquest into Ms Timbrell death was opened on Monday, September 19. A hearing will take place on Monday, November 28.
